Action Taken by MHRD for Class I to V Study Pattern

MHRD Have issued order on 5th October 2018 to Education Secretaries of All states and UTs for implementation of Hon’ble Madras High Court order.

Key Highlights:

• No Homework for Class I and II
• Not to Prescribe any other subject except Language and Mathematics for Class I and II
• Not to Prescribe any other subject except Language, EVS and Mathematics for Class III to V
• Disaffiliate schools prescribing Homework and Non-prescribed subject for class I and II students and class III to V students.
• Direct State Governments and Government of Union Territories forthwith to form special squads to inspect the schools and prevent the use of non-prescribed books
